Nicolas Duhamel is the Director Offshore for FMC Technologies’ Loading Systems division. He holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Glasgow & Strathclyde and is graduate in Civil Engineering from Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP).
Nicolas started his career developing, designing, engineering and building Turret Mooring Systems for SBMOffshore where he also held positions of Engineering Project Manager in Monaco and Construction Manager in Singapore. Since 2012 with FMC Technologies, he is running the Loading Systems Offshore product line which covers offshore LNG transfer activities and systems ( i.e side-by-side and tandem loading systems). Part of his activities is the execution of the FLNG and FSRU projects for the loading system package including the two FLNGs Prelude and Petronas 1.
Ian has an honours degree in Ship Science from the University of Southampton and holds a key role in the development of the KBR FLNG project solutions. He has over 30 years of experience in the upstream industry covering the delivery of offloading, platform, subsea, installation and floating solutions. Ian joined KBR in 1987 and has held project positions in the UK, Norway, Brazil, South Korea and Canada working with EPC delivery chain of engineers, suppliers, fabricators and clients. Since 1995 Ian has been involved in the configuration and development of floating solutions for oil and gas production covering benign through harsh environment FPSOs, concept arrangements for methanol production vessels and most recently the delivery of FLNG solutions.
